Perfect bitter summer cocktail base
This is a great gateway into amaros and aperitivos. On the sweeter side with great bitter notes, Aperol pairs well with citrus. Enjoying it in a spritz is my favorite way to enjoy.

So refreshing!
Aperol spritz is the drink of summer! It's so refreshing and takes me right back to my time spent in Italy. Always a crowd pleaser. All you have to do is add some Prosecco and club soda to your Aperol and you've got it! Orange wedge is a bonus! I'm sure it would also make a good addition to other drinks, too.
