Surprisingly Delightful
I was presented a gift bottle by my engineering team. I typically enjoy 12 - 25 year Scotch non-peated. But I have to say, "THIS IS A SPECTACULARLY SURPRISING OFFERING". The initial entry is subtle with the barrel notes, however, it is the melody of mid-tones that overwhelmingly satisfy even the greatest proponents of "well aged" offerings. This has immediately become my Gentle Notes companion this holiday season. My only regret is that Alabama has seen fit to restrict the offering in ABC stores and the few independents only carry a few numbers. Rest assured, when traveling outside the "restrictive walls" I will search High & Low for some to take home.

A classic in the making!
I was gifted a bottle for my birthday. At first, I planned on keeping it unopened because of the attractive bottle. It was love at first sip and it was a neat sip! I was surprised by the smooth slightly sweet taste. Needless to say I have replaced the "birthday" bottle several times. Also, I have recently noticed people requesting BH at bars and restaurants. I must say, it's very refreshing to see this brand take off without the unnecessary "celebrity" attachment and hoopla! Good old fashion branding!
