Captain Morgan is the typical spiced rum. Only palatable when mixed into a cocktail. The people that drink this straight fear neither God nor man.

I love rum, but I hate...
I love rum, but I hate Captain Morgan. It has some type of disgusting aftertaste that just turns my stomach. My top two rums are Kraken and Blackheart. If I'm at a restaurant and they tell me that all they have for their Rum and Cokes is Captain, I think heavily about how much I actually want the drink. Often I will change my order.
