It is very rare that I will have a dark liquor with a dark mix, but I have found that this particular brand is amazing with a really good quality Coke or even a root beer

Captain Morgan's Black...
Captain Morgan's Black Spiced Rum is pretty good but to me it tastes pretty similar to the original. I mix it with regular coke and it does have a nice, smooth finish.
