Good and Cheap!

I am sure I am going to get some hate for this, but I call this the cheap alternative to Jack Daniel's. This bourbon is a sour mash and it's charcoal filtered, which gives it a slight flavor profile, similar to the Tennessee equivalent. It's also 86 proof, slightly higher than proof than Jack Daniel's. All that being said, as a Jack Daniel's drinker, this is my cheap go to when I'm low on scratch. Times are tough these days, I'd like to thank the producers of this fine cheap bourbon for making good quality whiskey affordable. I should also say it goes good with Coke as well. I've my fair share of this stuff during these hard financial times.

My Favorite in this Category

At 86 proof it has body and good flavor. I get caramel, an oak note with corn maybe a hint of nuts. It reminds me of crackerjack. I enjoy getting a nice whiskey at a reasonable price.
