This is pretty middle of the road whiskey. I wouldn't drink it straight thought that's for sure. Throw this in an Old Fashioned or some other kind of mixed drink and it's passable. Also just a good staple to keep as part of your home bar. Probably wouldn't order out

It tastes sweet, slightly smoky, even less slightly peaty. but if you always drink ur liquor neat and want something cheap, Red label is a decent choice.
