Mild and delicious

I am not someone who drinks run straight, so I made some homemade strawberry daiquiris. This rum had an amazing flavor, and didn't overpower or take away from the strawberry flavor. It was mild enough to blend well, and I can't wait to try it in other mixed drinks. If you have a rum lover in your life, this would make an amazing gift.

Good not great…

For rum it's a bit spicy. There's a lot of cinnamon and "hot" flavors. May be better in cocktails but by itself it is very hard to drink/sip. I was hoping the double cask would improve the flavor but it didn't.
