Excellent Rum

I received this product incentivized in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed trying the Mount Gay Black Barrel Double Cask Blend Rum. It is a very good sipping rum, it does have a strong bourbon flavor so it is not for those that don't like bourbon. I would recommend this rum for people who enjoy a good sipping rum.

Mount Gay Barbados Rum Black Barrel Double Cask Blend is a liquor you savor. When you pop the cork and take a good whiff, you know you're in for a treat. I poured a bit into a shot glass and drank it straight. Wow, it has a unique rum flavor and goes down smooth. Mount Gaye is 43% alcohol volume, and has a flavor that is robust and bold. It's a deeply charred bourbon, with notes of gingerbread, lychee and toffee. There is no added sugar, it has a natural sweetness to it. I am going to make eggnog with it this Christmas season and see who notices a difference. No wonder it's been around for 300 years, it's better.
