Mount Gay Daiquiris were light and refreshing

I received Mount Gay Eclipse Heritage Blend Rum discounted from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The Mount Gay Eclipse Heritage Blend Rum is a light rum with a gentle barrel aging. I made daiquiris for my wife and I. They turned out great and are easy sippers. The rum is a little lost from the tart limes but this made the drinks very easy to drink. They were very enjoyable and refreshing. I normally prefer a spirit forward cocktail and this was a little light for me. I enjoyed the flavors and will try the older aged Mount Gay Rums in the future

Best with a mixer imo

I thought this was going to have more of a spiced rum taste, but it does have more of a bite to it. I don't think I'd drink it alone but it would definitely work with some cola. I also find it to be a great value if you're looking for something for a lot of people. It gets the job done.
