Nice in between VSOP and XO

This cognac was smoother than the standard VSOP. Great notes of toffee and vanilla, but you also get some spicy and almost notes of a rum. The added complexity was a nice change. Would suggest regular VSOP for cocktail as the subtle notes that step his cognac up would not shine.

This is a solid cognac. It is very smooth, with a nice warming vibe. The smell can be harsh, but that can be said for any alcohol. This is a drink we sip mostly on the rocks, but sometimes neat. The presentation is great. It makes a great gift.
