This was my first time trying Remy Martin Cognac and I loved it! It was strong yet smooth. The quality of the cognac was top tier. The packaging and the bottle looked like money. Would most definitely purchase again.

Smooth and strong at the same time

Upon purchasing the Remy Martin 1738 cognac I instantly saw it was a beautiful copper color shimmering in its "fancy" bottle. The box was pretty neat too. I've never had cognac before so I was happy to try this. I first tried it "neat" right out of the bottle. It had a little burn going down but that disappeared quickly. It warmed my soul! I could taste the fig, toffee and spices that were perfectly blended. Next I made a cocktail with just Coke Zero. This mix really accentuated the sweetness of the 1738. This bottle will probably last me a little while but my wife who doesn't really drink spirits was surprised so maybe not. lol.
