A serious drink

Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal cognac comes in a beautiful clear embossed bottle. The cognac is a shimmering copper color, like the copper stills it is produced in. I definitely get an oaky nose from the cognac, like the barrels it ages in. The cognac is sharp and strong, 80 proof. It burns a little going down, but in a good way, warming the drinker up on a cold winter day. The tasting notes include brioche and toasted bread and along with the oakiness, those are the flavors that I can discern. This is a grown up drink for serious drinkers, not for shooting or mixing, but for sipping, savoring, and enjoying.

Smooth and tasty

This is my first time drinking Remy and i have to say its pretty good. It goes down nice and smooth just leaving a touch of warmth in the chest. Has a really nice flavor, I wouldnt be able to drink it without ice though.
