An Acquired Taste

My husband and I usually sip whiskey on the weekends, but to celebrate a success/accomplishment for my husband, I decided to purchase this lovely bottle. I purchased both Coca Cola and ginger beer as mixers with a couple of fresh limes. We started with a quick shot or two, and WOW. I can't say this is a drink I'd personally look forward to a shot of in the future, but it was easy to sip with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime. We both enjoyed it, and it made for a nice chill night together. Bottoms up!

Goes down smooth

Remy has a distinct cognac flavor. 1738 is smooth and best when served over ice or right out of the freezer. Rarely do I ever mix cognac but 1738 is great with strawberry daiquiri mix (give it a try). It's something I'll purchase again without hesitation. Price is comparable to similar cognac products. Most liquor stores carry it.
